Some screen printers are disappointed that the single UV-curable ink formulation developed to meet a wide range of applications doesn't quite meet the same performance standards they've grown accustomed to when using various formulations of UV-curable inks that are matched to specific types of materials. Ink manufacturers are encouraging screen printers to rethink their true requirements for ink adhesion. A graphic to be displayed for 30 days in a store window doesn't need to pass the same stringent adhesion tests as a vinyl graphic that will be protected by a premask tape prior to installation.
