The Vomela Group has completed the acquisition of the business and assets of Indianapolis-based Pratt Corporation, the provider of store décor and P-O-P programs for national retailers.

“Bringing the Pratt business into the Vomela family of companies, will allow us to serve our growing retail customer base with added capability, capacity and insight into retail markets”, says Mark Auth, president of Vomela.

Dan Pratt will serve as president of the newly formed Pratt Visual Solutions. Tom Pratt will serve as Pratt Visual Solutions’ vice president of sales and marketing; and will take a lead role in integrating Vomela's added capabilities into Pratt's offerings, the company reports.

This acquisition of Pratt “is the perfect strategic move to complement Pratt's historic growth and service strategy, and will strengthen our ability to provide unparalleled service to our current and prospective clients”, says Dan Pratt.

Pratt was begun as the Pratt Poster Company in 1946, in Indianapolis. In 2010, Pratt restructured its units to include Store Décor, Shopper POP, and the Retail Studio.

Based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Vomela is a 65 year-old company that conducts business under a variety of brands including Vomela, C2 Imaging, Corporate Identity Systems, Harbor Graphics Corporation, Motorsports Designs, American Screen Art, and B2B Media. Vomela Specialty Company and affiliates has expected 2012 revenues of approximately $200 million; it employs 900 people in manufacturing and/or sales operations in 18 cities in the US and Canada.
