North Carolina-based media manufacturer Vision Graphics is offering a new line of perforated films for window graphics. Vision Graphics has been manufacturing see-through films since 1995, and is now selling the films under its own brand. Because Vision Graphics perforates its own materials in house, “this gives us an advantage when it comes to price,” says Vision Graphics' Stan Holt.

Most products are available as industry standard 50/50 (meaning 50% removed and 50% retained) and the new-to-the-industry 70/30 (30% removed and 70% retained) perforation patterns. “By retaining 70% of the material, you get more pop from your graphics,” notes Holt. “It is great for storefronts, but not recommended for transit applications.”

Products include VG-Vision SP for ScotchPrint electrostatic; V-Jet Vision Solvent for Arizona, Mimaki, Vutek, and Durst Rho printers; V-Jet Vision for HP Designjet, Encad NovaJet, and Mutoh printers; and V-Jet Cling for HP Designjet, ColorSpan, Encad, Roland, Arizona, Mimaki, Vutek, and Durst Rho printers. The VG Vision line of products offers an outdoor durability of 3 to 5 years.

Vision see-through films are made in America and licensed by Contra Vision. (Vision Graphics: www.visiongraphic.com)
