Big Ink, based out of Eagan, Minnesota, made the 2019 ILEA Conference Esprit Awards Gala shine with impressive installations at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. The project’s design had a “Curiosity Fractured” theme to mesh with the Center’s architecture. The large “ESPRIT” block aluminum letters were one of the event’s star attractions.

“The main objective for the client was to integrate building architecture, design, and unique graphics production into an experiential event that sparked conversation, fostered curiosity, and aided in discovery for the attendees,” says Janine Trutna, marketing director, Big Ink. The aluminum letters were wrapped with Flexcon Busmark 5800 removable vinyl that was digitally printed with an HP 365 Latex printer.
