The commission of a 50 x 260-foot banner may intimidate some, but with a motto of “no task is too big, no detail is too small,” MetroMedia Technologies was ready for the job. Designed to announce the expansion of the Beavers’ Valley Football Center at MMT’s longtime client Oregon State University, the banner was printed on the shop’s proprietary 32-foot drum printer on 13-ounce MMT 313 mesh vinyl, which resists wind and allows rain to flow through to the roof, says Paul Nevue, account director.

“It was a very unique install,” Nevue adds; it took a three-man crew three days to position the banner’s two overlapping pieces using a 70-foot crane. The team used 320 metal fasteners and zip ties to attach it directly to the roof.
