Troika's VersoProof double-sided imposition proofing is now available on the full range of Epson Stylus Pro wide-format printers, including the 7600, 9600 and 10600 models. The VersoProof is designed to save time and money by enabling designers and print professionals to catch errors early. It also provides an effective sales tool by enabling printing companies to present their clients with a color-accurate, content-accurate dummy.

When a sheet of paper is placed into the input slot, the VersoProof uses the optical alignment system in the Epson to automatically line up the paper. The first side of the sheet is printed. The sheet is removed and reloaded by the same method, but reversed to print the second side. VersoProof is designed to interface with all industry standard RIP systems.

Troika's managing director Phil Hall notes that after selling 60 of the units, “We are getting very positive feedback from end users. The savings that are being made in production and the sales advantages give the user a return on their investment in just a few weeks.” (Troika Systems Limited: www.troika-systems.com)
