Three New Media from Mitsubishi Imaging

Perforated media geared for P-O-P, display graphics, and other indoor applications.

Mitsubishi Imaging has announced Diamond Jet Vision, Diamond Jet GF6 semi-gloss proofing paper, and Diamond Jet 100% cotton paper.

Diamond Jet Vision is a perforated paper-based inkjet media, which is see-through, even after printing from the reverse side. Available in 30-in. rolls, it was designed for indoor advertising on widows and other transparent surfaces, P-O-P advertising, and display graphics at trade shows and promotional events.

The new semi-gloss proofing paper Diamond Jet GF6 (also known as IJ-PR-GF160) is available in 44-in. rolls. It is 45-lb, 7.5-mil paper with brightness rating of 92, with a semi-gloss surface similar to offset papers. It dries instantly and shows minimal color drift after printing and is compatible with dye and pigment-based aqueous inks.

Diamond Jet 100% Cotton Paper features a brightness rating of 94 and is suitable for all inkjet printers, except solvent. Free of optical brightening agents (OBA), the 250-gsm 15-mil Cotton maintains its original color over time and does not yellow as do papers treated with brightening agents. It's available in 17-, 24-, and 36-in. rolls.
