Creating one of the largest building wraps in a state’s history is a pretty big deal, and an even larger task. But Tempe, Arizona, print shop bluemedia (www.bluemedia.com) was ready for the job. Teaming with billboard company Becker Boards, the shop printed and installed the bright pink T-Mobile, 60 x 200-foot graphic in strips for the 12,000-square-foot Alliance Bank building in downtown Phoenix.

The shop used its HP Latex 3000 printer on Arlon DPF 47WF 70-30 perforated window film to make the graphic tiles of the wrap covering the windows of the building stand out.

Bluemedia’s four-person install team worked 134 hours over four nights, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., on a 30-foot-wide swing stage. They created a quarter of the installation each night, starting at the top and working their way down.

The building wrap was so large that hikers in the mountains of Scottsdale, Arizona, could see the graphics, according to bluemedia.
