To celebrate its 10th anniversary in business, Tara Graphics in Huntsville, AL recently became a separate company from its sister company Tara Manufacturing.

Tara Manufacturing began making vinyl liners for swimming pools in 1984. In 1993, Tara Graphics began selling blank vinyl on which local billboard companies could hand paint signs. When superwide inkjet printing hit the scene, Tara Graphics became one of the first companies in the Southeast US to digitally print directly to vinyl. The company continues to print billboards for national clients, but has also pursued new markets. In addition to billboards, truck graphics, and outdoor signage, Tara Graphics also produces wall murals printed on wallpaper.

Tara Graphics now operates ten printers, including low-res models for highway signage and higher-res inkjets for more closely viewed graphics. (Tara Graphics: 256-725-2585; www.taragraphics.com)
