SubliDirect Textiles from 3P

3P has released its new SubliDirect textile line, as well as UV-optimized fabrics, a new canvas, and new Universal banners.

The SubliDirect fabrics are all 100% woven polyester, coated with 3P’s SubliDirect coating, compatible with aqueous sublimation inksets, and available in rolls up to 122-in. wide. These fabrics can be direct-printed using a variety of inkjet printers, including DuPont Artistri 3320 and 2020, d-gen Teleios, and Tex Press DSS 1800 II.

* SubliDirect Flag is rip-proof polyester with a matte surface. The 100-gsm fabric is designed for outdoor applications. SubliDirect Flag FR is the flame-retardant version and can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications.

* The 196-gsm SubliDirect Display FR is a wrinkle-free, rip-proof fabric with a matte surface. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, it’s flame retardant and can be used for P-O-P displays, flags, textile wall hangings, and window displays.

* The glossy-surfaced SubliDirect Taft FR is a 76-gsm flame-retardant polyester with a real textile feel, the company reports. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use, it can be used for display booths, wall hangings, shop decoration, flags, and window displays.

3P UV-optimized fabrics are specially coated fabrics designed to produce vibrant, detailed images with UV-curable inks. UV-optimized textiles include: 110-gsm Flag FR, 200-gsm Heavy Banner, 228-gsm Fine Art Canvas, and Cotton FR, a 180-gsm 100% cotton with a matte surface.

The 340-gsm Universal Glossy Canvas has a short drying time and is compatible with aqueous, solvent, and UV-curable inks. The 65/35 polyester/cotton canvas offers a glossy surface and is flexible enough to be stretched and framed without cracking. While it’s designed for realistic reproduction of paintings, it also works well as an indoor decorative banner.

3P also offers two new Universal banners: Universal Polyester Banner Light FR and Universal Polyester Banner Heavy FR. Compatible with pigment- or dye-based aqueous, solvent, mild-solvent, or UV-curable inks, the matte-coated fabrics are flame-retardant, offer a high color gamut, and are available in rolls from 24 to 122 in.

Finally, 3P is offering ICC profiles for its SubliDirect line of fabrics. The profiles have been created in collaboration with the ErgoSoft TexPrint v12 RIP and d.gen 740 TX 6C printer. Downloadable at the 3P website, ICC profiles are available for its SubliDirect Flag, Flag FR, Display FR, and Taft FR.
