Sihl Introduces Umbra Fine-Art Media

Sihl Digital Imaging has added to its line of fine-art media with 3975 and 3976 Umbra Fine Art Smooth media. The 100%-cotton, acid-free paper is designed for fine-art and photographic reproductions and is specifically targeted at monochromatic photographic art. Available in a natural white matte finish, the opaque single-side coated media is compatible with dye and pigmented inks and is offered in medium and heavy weights (240 gsm and 320 gsm). The company reports that the water-resistant media provides excellent sharpness, optimal color gradation, instant drying time for full-color inkjet printing, and light resistance with pigmented inks of 55 yr. Available in rolls from 17- to 44-in. wide.
