SGIA/DPI to Hold Digital Printing Conference in Europe

Large-format digital printing will be the primary focus of a new SGIA/DPI Digital Printing Conference to be conducted in Amsterdam, The Netherlands by the Screenprinting & Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI). Scheduled for the first quarter of 2004, the new conference will be the first in a series of educational events designed to enhance SGIA/DPI member benefits in Europe.

“The scope of the printing and imaging is global, as is the association that represents it,” says Michael Robertson, president and CEO of SGIA and DPI. The organizations have signed a letter of intent to work with Promotion Projects BV of Amsterdam to produce the event.

SGIA and DPI Information Guide:To enhance awareness of member benefits in the US, the organizations have issued a 24 x 30-in. Resource Information Guide that graphically depicts all of the services, products, programs and discounts available through DPI and SGIA and how to access them. Association resources are grouped into four major categories: Technical, Marketing & Sales, Management, and Safety/Health/Environment. (SGIA: www.sgia.org; DPI: www.dpia.org)
