SGIA’s Women in Print Alliance has launched a survey designed to create a better understanding of the “experience, expectations, and priorities of women working in the printing industry,” according to its website. The survey aims to develop an understanding of the role women play in the print industry and how businesses can better recruit, retain, and promote female leaders. SGIA reports that all survey participants will receive a summary of the results. The survey is now open to all women involved in the industry.

The SGIA Women in Print Alliance was created to “attract the next generation of gifted women to the printing industry, retain and recognize those who are successfully serving the industry, and advance or promote talented women in print whose success would benefit the industry as a whole.” The alliance will partner with Big Picture’s at this year’s SGIA Expo to recognize the industry’s female leaders and at a panel discussion and breakfast networking event.
