Seal has released a durable Print Shield Polycarbonate. This new film–available in thickness of 5, 10, or 15 mil–features a polycarbonate film with a permanent pressure-sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive. The laminate is compatible with graphics printed with aqueous and solvent inks (it has yet to be tested with UV-curable inks, Seal says).

The product is non-glare, comes with a velvet/luster finish, and is highly resistant to scratching, tearing, fingerprints, extensive handling, and moisture. The polycarbonate laminate works well for both outdoor and indoor applications and offers a life expectancy of more than 2 years indoor, and 1 year outdoors.

“Print Shield Polycarbonate adds durability with rigidity and flexibility, making it ideal for tradeshow and P-O-P graphics,” says Lisa Paris, marketing manager at Seal Graphics. “It can withstand the rigors of repeated set-up and tear down, as well as exposure in public environments. Plus, the film's aggressive adhesive allows graphics to be rolled for storage and shipment, without tunneling.”

It is available in 38-, 51-, and 60-in. rolls. (Seal Graphics: www.sealgraphics.com)
