Seal has introduced two new types of media: Inkjet Fabric Banner and Inkjet Solvent Economy Vinyl.

Designed for use with dye-, pigment-, or oil-based inks, its Inkjet Fabric Banner line is 100% polyester with a universal coating that supports heavy ink coverage, increases overall durability, and eliminates cracking due to tension. The 122-gsm Inkjet Light Banner Fabric and the more opaque 225-gsm Inkjet Heavy Banner Fabric are moisture-resistant and appropriate for indoor and short-term outdoor applications (2 to 3 weeks when printed with pigmented inks). Available in rolls from 36- to 60-in. wide, product applications include banners, banner stands, roll-up displays, and pop-up displays.

The new Inkjet Solvent Economy Vinyl line is a 3.2-mil white economy-grade calendered vinyl that's backed with a permanent acrylic adhesive. Available in non-glare matte or brilliant gloss finish, it is compatible with solvent, mild-solvent, and UV-curable inks. Designed for short-term outdoor banners and signs as well as indoor applications, the vinyl offers a 2-yr outdoor durability; durability can be extended through application of a laminating film or liquid lamination. For use only on flat or simple curved surfaces. The vinyl is available in 30-, 54-, and 60-in. rolls.
