Sawgrass Debuts XG8 System and New Inks

Sawgrass has made additions to its Subli-
Jet IQ inkset”?Jet Black, Red, and Blue.
Designed for 6- and 8-color production
printers, the Jet Black allows for darker,
deeper, richer blacks and better color contrast
and pop, the company reports. Red
and Blue generate brighter reds and richer
blues for up to a 30% larger color gamut, and
offer better spot-color matching.

The Sawgrass new digital transfer system,
XG8 System, is for Epson Stylus Photo
R1800 printers (prints up to 13-in. wide).
This 8-color (CMYKcmrb) system features
Power Drive XG8 color-management software,
QuickConnect II refill system
(sealed system to protects inks from air
and contamination), and Sawgrass Subli-
Jet IQ transfer inks”?Jet Black, Red, and
Blue. The XG8 System is also available for
the Epson Stylus Photo R800, which
offers prints up to 8.5 x 14 in.
