Royal Impressions Uses Xerox iGen3 to Increase Revenue

Royal Impressions, a graphic-communications firm based in New York, has increased its color printing revenue 15 percent during the past 12 months by using a Xerox DocuColor iGen3? Digital Production Press to meet the growing demand for personalized marketing applications. The success even sparked the company's decision to purchase a second iGen3 to keep up with demand for variable-information (VI) printing.

Royal Impressions was an alpha test facility for the iGen3, and expects its color output to increase from 500,000 pages per month with just one machine to more than 2 million with two machines running over 12 months. The company has used its iGen3 to produce jobs such as customized 40 to 90-page 401k enrollment guides for the participants in Prudential retirement plans.

“The DocuColor iGen3 allows us to expand our print offerings and capitalize on the growing demand for variable information printing,” says Christopher DeSantis, president of Royal Impressions. “We see a hungry VI market and our sales force will continue to get out there and 'wow' potential customers with this amazing technology.”

The company also uses three Xerox DocuColor 2060 Digital Color Presses to produce variable-information marketing materials for a well-known travel resort. The mailings include more than 700 variable elements, including text and images that highlight a vacationer's specific interests and related resort activities.
