Roland Sponsors Chilean Festival Fab13

Roland DG has announced its sponsorship of the “Fab Festival” in Santiago, Chile, known as Fab13. The event, held July 31 to August 6, brings members of more than 1000 Fab Labs together for thought leadership discussions, hands-on workshops, and technology demonstrations. This year’s theme is “Fabricating Society.”

Fab Labs is a concept originated by the Center for Bits and Atoms at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to allow members of the general public to turn their ideas into reality. Roland will demonstrate technologies including 3D milling machines, desktop vinyl cutters, wide-format inkjet printers, and UV benchtop flatbed printers. The company will also lead an interactive workshop on how to use Roland’s , CutStudio software, and .
