Roland recently announced its new ECO-SOL MAX inks for all PRO II V SOLJET and VersaCAMM printers and printer/cutters. Eco-Sol Max builds on the company's Eco-Sol inks, introduced in 2003, with several enhancements, including: faster drying time for improved production speed; higher density; wider color gamut, especially for reds, blues, and greens; improved scratch-resistance; and expanded uncoated media support.

In addition, Eco-Sol Max is virtually odorless, contains no harmful VOCs, and requires no special ventilation or environmental equipment, reports the company. The new inks can be used for indoor as well as outdoor graphics, and offer up to a 3-yr outdoor durability, without lamination.

“New Eco-Sol Max is a significant upgrade to Roland's inkjet line” says Barry Johnson, Roland color products division manager. “In addition to reducing production costs, these enhancements expand the range of applications available to Roland inkjet customers.”

Inks are available in 220-ml cartridges and have a suggested retail price of $59.99.
