To help lower production costs of wide-format graphics, Roland DGA has dropped the prices of its 8-mil gloss and semi gloss true photobase papers by 20%. They also added 60-in. wide rolls of the papers to the existing line of 42- and 52-in. wide papers.

The sturdy, fast-drying, water-resistant papers are recommended for photographic reproductions, trade-show graphics and P-O-P displays and now range in price from $179.95 to $259.95 for 100 ft. rolls.

Roland also recently lowered the price of its PolySilk Soft Cloth that can be imaged with either aqueous or mild solvent inks and gently handwashed without any extra heat-setting or finishing. The cloth is recommended for textile proofs, novelty promotional items, banners, and other display graphics. (Roland DGA: www.rolanddga.com)
