Roland DGA Names David Goward President and CEO

Bob Curtis assumes new role as chairman.

David Goward has been named president and CEO of Roland DGA Corp. Goward succeeds Bob Curtis, who has served as president and CEO since 1997 and has been named chairman of Roland DGA’s board of directors.

“These are exciting times at Roland and I am honored to serve as president and CEO of this growing, dynamic organization,” says Goward. “It is rare to be able to lead such a dedicated team of professionals. We are enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead and look forward to working closely with our many partners in business to serve our customers.”

As president and CEO of Roland DGA Corp., Goward is responsible for managing the strategic direction of the company. Goward brings to the position more than 30 years of senior-level management experience primarily in the signage and graphic arts industries including 13 years with Roland DGA. He most recently served the company as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

In his new role, Curtis will continue to drive Roland strategic initiatives both across the Americas and worldwide, serving as chairman of Roland DGA Corp. and reporting to the board of directors of parent company Roland DG Corp. as an executive officer. Curtis joined Roland in 1987 as vice president and general manager of the U.S.-based organization and was named president and CEO of Roland DGA Corp. in 1997. His background includes more than 35 years of senior-level management experience in the technology and electronics industries.
