Leverages FlexFire printheads for detailed prints.

Roland DGA has expanded its TrueVis series with addition of the TrueVis VF2-640 64-in. eco-solvent wide-format printer. The press offers True Rich Color 2 Preset with Greenguard Gold-certified inks, including new TR2 Green ink in combination with TR2 Orange ink in process colors, for photorealistic output and a wider color gamut, according to the company. A Green Roland DG Color System Library with 142 new spot colors enables enhanced color matching and reproduction while four FlexFire printheads offer color vibrancy and detailed prints.

Additional features include redesigned, more stable TU4 media take-up with two modes for versatility; pinch roller system for simple media loading and improved tracking accuracy; smart media clamps designed to streamline workflow; and Roland DG Mobile 2 for test printing, cleaning, and troubleshooting via tablet or smartphone.
