Roland DGA has announced that, effective January 1, 2013, Rick Scrimger, formerly vice president of sales and marketing of Roland DGA, will replace current Roland DGA president Dave Goward, who has been appointed president of worldwide sales and an executive officer for Roland DG.

Goward will continue with Roland DGA through the remainder of 2013 as chief executive officer, providing strategic guidance. Scrimger, upon assuming his position as president of Roland DGA, will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company and providing critical market insight to Roland DG’s product development team.

“These are exciting times at Roland and I am honored to serve as president of worldwide sales,” Goward says. “As the entire Roland DG organization embarks on its Global One initiative, we are enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead.”

Scrimger is also looking forward to his new responsibilities as president of Irvine-based Roland DGA. “I’m eager to begin building upon the incredible track record of growth and success Dave has helped establish,” he said. “As a leader in so many growing markets, Roland is well positioned for the future.”

With more than 30 years of senior-level management experience, including 18 years with Roland DGA, Goward has been instrumental in developing the company’s sales, service and distribution organizations, resulting in 600-percent growth. Scrimger’s background includes 20 years in product management, marketing, and sales, including 15 with Roland DGA, most recently serving the company as vice president of sales and marketing.
