Roland Announces 2007 Workshops

Roland DGA has announced its 2007 Roland University workshop schedule, including new additions to its course offerings that hit on color and specific Roland SolJet productivity. This year's workshops, offered at the company's Irvine, CA training facility, include:


* Roland Color Workshop: A new session that covers the basics of color management and color matching vector-based graphics. The course combines a complete color theory overview with hands-on application training; it's specifically intended for those looking to maximize output from their VersaWorks RIP software and Roland inkjet printer or printer/cutter. May 10-11 and June 14-15.


* Pro Series Workshop: Designed specifically for owners of Roland SolJet inkjets, this new class provides advanced-level training on how to maintain a SolJet and increase its productivity and performance. Also covered: banners, signage, trade show graphics, point-of-purchase, and vehicle graphics. March 8-9 and August 30-31.


* VersaCamm Workshop: Designed for users of Roland's VersaCamm integrated printer/cutters; how to increase productivity, maintain a VersaCamm, and prolong the machine's performance. The course will cover Roland VersaWorks software as well as a variety of profitable business opportunities including print-for-pay applications, label and decal production, garment transfer, vehicle graphics, and more. February 8-9 and June 28-29.


* Roland wRAP Session Vehicle Graphics Workshop: Participants in this course will learn first hand how to take a vehicle graphics job from design to installation. Roland specialists will instruct on how to get the best possible results from a Roland inkjet including media and laminating choices. Industry professionals will demonstrate the tools and techniques required and provide hands-on instruction. March 15-16.
