Real Viz Upgrades Stitcher Pro for Panoramic Images

Real Viz has announced its new Stitcher Pro 5.5 and Unlimited 5.5. Stitcher is a professional-level application that enables the creation of wide-angle panoramas for the Web, film, print, and 3-D. The resultant 16-bit high-res panoramas are fully operable with Photoshop.

New features in Stitcher Pro 5.5 include SmartBlend technology for image rendering and KML-based export to geo-reference panoramas using Google Earth.

Stitcher Unlimited 5.5, for professional panorama creators, offers the ability to produce multiple panoramas of high quality. Additional features include: the ability to use fish-eye lenses to create full spheres from a limited number of images; Java-based Pure Player; Shockwave 3-D-based Spi-V Viewer; and HTML export.
