Race Car Wrap in the Fast Lane

Wrapping a car that’s going to appear on national television might be intimidating to some, but for the installers at Andretti Autosport, it’s just another day at the office. The racing company designs, produces, and installs all of the graphics for its extensive lineup, including four , four Indy Lights cars, and two Rallycross cars, not to mention all of the associated pit equipment and semitruck transporters. This No. 41 Volkswagen Beetle GRC, sponsored by Orafol and piloted by Scott Speed, was wrapped for two Global Rallycross events in June. The Andretti team wrapped the vehicle and a selection of spare parts with Oracal 970RA Premium Shift Effect Cast in Ultramarine Violet and printed the decal graphics via an HP Latex 360 onto Orajet 3551, finishing with Oraguard 290 matte laminate.
