R Tape Introduces Polycarbonate Eclypse Films

R Tape has added three new heavy-gauge polycarbonate films to its Eclypse overlaminate line. Available in 3-, 5-, and 10-mil thicknesses, these rigid films offer a velvet finish, good lay-flat characteristics, and protection from UV light.

The Eclypse films are coated with a high-performance, solvent-based adhesive to improve the product’s resistance to tunneling, crazing, and stress whitening when graphics are rolled. The non-yellowing adhesive allows for better adhesive wet out, resulting in blemish-free laminations and the polyester film liner keeps the adhesive smoother and crystal clear to prevent orange peel.

For use with trade-show graphics, photographic prints, and P-O-P transparency graphics, these Eclypse overlaminate films provide up to 5-yr indoor durability and 3-yr outdoor durability. Available in 38- and 51-in. widths.
