QMLS Expands Duravinyl Line

Eight new calendered vinyls, 3.2- and 3.5-mil.

Quality Media & Laminating Solutions (QMLS) has expanded its Duravinyl line of printable adhesive vinyls for solvent and UV-curable printers with the addition of eight calendered vinyl products. The new 3.2- and 3.5-mil calendered vinyls, which join the company’s cast-vinyl products, are available in gloss clear, white matte, and white gloss surfaces with permanent, permanent blockout, removable, and ultra removable adhesives.

Duravinyl products come with a 90-lb liner to reduce waves and curls produced during the printing and drying/curing process. In addition, the vinyls’ lower plasticizer content reduces shrinkage after printing, also helping make printing and installing more manageable, reports QMLS.

Outdoor durability ranges from 6 mo to 2 yr and the product is available in 30-, 54-, and 60-in. rolls.
