The National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA) has received exclusive rights to produce limited-edition giclees of concept illustrations by film director Tim Burton, which he had created for his 1993 film, The Nightmare Before Christmas. NECA produced the prints in-house using its Hewlett-Packard Designjet 5500ps printer and outputting onto Magic FAP-255, an Arches 225-gsm fine-art watercolor paper from InteliCoat that's an acid- and lignin-free for high archivalness.

“I have been a huge fan of Tim Burton's for years before actually working on his film-related products,” says Joel Weinshanker, NECA president and owner. “Being able to publish Tim's vision is both a dream come true and a rare privilege.”

Titled, “Nightmare Before Christmas Giclees Series 1,” each of the six prints has a limited edition size of 315, with individual prints selling for $450. The entire suite retails from $1800 to $2400 and includes a limited edition “hard-back portfolio carrying case.” The series includes two 15 x 19-in. prints, and one each of the following sizes: 20 x 14 in.; 10 x 11 in.; 19 x 15 in., and 17.5 x 14 in. www.necaonline.com
