Print Pro Shares What He Sacrificed to Create an “Exceptional Life for My Future Family”

“If you enjoy and are excited about what you do, is it really work?” questions Hite. In the early part of his career, he didn’t have what most would consider work-life balance. “Driven to provide an exceptional life for my future family without many of the struggles I experienced growing up, I worked!” he says. “Long hours, many times seven days a week. But, by doing so, I was able to start a business creating what eventually became Image Options.”

In the beginning, Hite wore all the hats. As time passed, he was able to assign the hats to others. “Many of the hats I was happy to release, others I miss,” he says. “I love creating and building something of quality with my hands. Delegation of hats is where my true life-balance began. Self-employment allowed me to be present at soccer games, school performances, vacations, and just being there whenever needed,” which is often with family – his two girls and two grandchildren – friends, and his dogs (Harley a German Shepherd, Chance a Boxer, and Bailey a Boxer Mix). He recently lost two of his German Shepherd’s to cancer, “but their presence is still here,” he says. Hite spends his downtime in the great outdoors, boating, fishing, golfing, and camping. His other interests include music, reading, learning, and attending events and shows.
