New York artist Bill Helms is always looking for fresh ways to catch
the attention of an art director. Traditional portfolios and resumes
frequently get overlooked. But now he guarantees his images will get a
look-see because he sends them in the form of a roll-up portfolio he
calls FADS (fine-art digitals).

So far, few art directors have been able to resist unrolling the
portfolios. Helms prints out images on 11-in. wide rolls of Lumijet
Genuine Pearl media on his Epson Stylus Pro 7600 wide-format inkjet
printer. He then slips the roll into a 12-in. tube, and the presentation
is on its way.

Helms makes each roll-up as long or as short as needed to create the
desired impression, and customizes the presentation for each prospective
client.

Lumijet Ultra Gloss and Genuine Pearl media from Luminos Photo Corp.
are now available in six roll widths: 4, 8.5, 11, 13, 24 and 36 in.
