Pictorico Launches New Media

Pictorico has introduced several new
media, compatible with aqueous printers,
including Epson, Canon, Hewlett-
Packard, Roland, Mimaki, and Mutoh
models. The new media include:

  • DCU250, based on DCU160 (Digital
    Color Proof Universal), is 10-mil thick
    and weighs 250 gsm. Designed for the
    contract proofing market, it's available
    in sheets and rolls up to 42-in. wide.

  • DCP4 (Digital Color Proof version 4)
    is a # 1 litho sheet coated with Pictorico
    microporous coating. With a 6-mil thickness,
    it has an ISO brightness percentage
    of 93, is compatible with both dye and pigment-
    based systems, and is available in
    sheets and rolls up to 42-in. wide.

  • PGHG is a 3.8-mil High Gloss White
    Film that is 25 microns thinner than
    its other White Film products. Aimed
    at the packaging market, its polyester
    base has an opaque white surface integrated
    with a microporous coating. It's
    compatible with both dye and pigment-based
    systems.
