PhotoVu Offers 17-in. Digital Picture Frames

Although PhotoVu primarily markets its
PV1740 digital picture frames to consumers,
these units can also be sold by
businesses as simple electronic digital
displays to their clients.

The PV1740 is a wall-mounted, WiFi 17-
in. LCD TFT display that includes a custom
frame and mat made to order. Featuring a
display resolution of 1280 x 960 (4:3)
and 24-bit color, the PV1740 can be run on
just about any device that has a Web
browser and a network connection. Alternately,
the frame can also be used in
stand-alone mode without a network or
computer, using a USB flash drive or an
optional 40-GB removable hard drive. The
PV1740 integrates with major photomanagement
software and supports
JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG, and GIF files.

Size: approximately 19 x 24 x 2.125 in.
(inside dimensions of 16 x 20 in.). Weight:
18 lbs, depending upon frame. A variety of
frames and matboard are available; custom
