Perception’s Canvas 2.0 with REPREVE® Used to Create Auction Artwork Proceeds Benefit Detroit Michigan Youth Center

Perception® Wide Format Media, a brand of Worthen Industries, Canvas 2.0 polyester/cotton blend fabric made in the USA with 100% recycled polyester was used to create and auction five paintings with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Sports, Academics, Youth (S.A.Y.) Detroit Play Center. S.A.Y. Detroit Play Center at Lipke Park, offers athletic and academic programs to Detroit's youth.

The promotion involved a professional football player employing the fine art of grabbing a football, dipping it in paint and throwing it at PERCEPTION®'s Canvas 2.0. The object was to raise money for charity. The professional football player created five unique paintings, then auctioned them off, with the proceeds going to the Sports, Academics, Youth (S.A.Y.) Detroit Play Center. Perception was proud to be part of the game.
