Perception® Wide Format Media, a brand of Worthen Industries, Canvas 2.0 polyester/cotton blend fabric made in the USA with 100% recycled polyester was used to create and auction five paintings with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Sports, Academics, Youth (S.A.Y.) Detroit Play Center. S.A.Y. Detroit Play Center at Lipke Park, offers athletic and academic programs to Detroit's youth.

Using Unifi, Inc’s REPREVE®, a leading recycled fiber brand, this eco-friendly and environmentally sustainable canvas contains a proprietary formula, surpassing industry standards in terms of stretching, imaging performance and consistent quality, from roll to roll. These features yield minimal waste, saving users time and money.

Because Canvas 2.0 is made from Repreve, this Perception product is the most environmentally sustainable canvas available on the market. “This polyester/cotton blend fabric made with Repreve® 100% recycled polyester is a combination of recycled water bottles and post-industrial polyester waste,” said Jim Tufts, Business Unit Manager. “Canvas 2.0 is a very unique eco-friendly and environmentally sustainable canvas that’s free of formaldehyde, phthalates, VOC, APE and chlorine,” he said.
