PDN Curator Awards: Call for Entries

Photography magazine PDN is accepting entries for its Curator photography contest, described as “a search for outstanding and undiscovered fine-art photography.

The contest comprises six categories, including Portraits/Nudes, Installation/Still Life, Abstract/Mixed Media, Nature/Street Photography, Photo Essay/Reportage, and Student Work.

One artist in each category will be awarded participation in an exclusive gallery show held at MILK Studios in New York City this summer. In addition, the selected artists will be featured in a print gallery in PDN’s June issue—which has an additional print distribution to photography-industry creatives. Images also will be reproduced in a PDN Web gallery.

Category winners will receive a Moab Chinle portfolio, and a free print from SeenBy, either mounted with their frameless display technology with aluminum dibond or printed on a stretch canvas up to a size of 40 x 60 inches. One artist will be awarded a free Seenby print—up to 48 x 72 inches—mounted on aluminum dibond with acrylic finishing.

Entry fees are $45 per image or $60 per series. Deadline for entry is March 22, 2010.
