Durst is pleased to announce the second part of its “RETAIL 2020: The Brands’ Perspective of the Future” Series, which will take place next week at the SGIA Expo in Atlanta. This Nov. 4 luncheon session will feature three senior marketing managers from fashion apparel retailer ANN INC.:
• Libra Balian, Senior Director of Marketing Operations
• Kris Hentnik, Senior Manager of Marketing Operations & Print Production at LOFT / ANN INC.
• Jeanine Matteo, Marketing/Visual Manager
The two-hour event, titled “Future Forward,” begins at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Room B310 of Atlanta’s World Congress Center. It is the second session in the Retail 2020 Series brought to the industry by Durst. At each session, brand managers and other influential “end users” of print services are invited to provide their points of view and a rich client/vendor dialogue is achieved.

“We know there are a lot of printers out there today who are taking a hard look at large-format printing, and one of the elements that’s needed in making that decision is knowledge about the customer and what they want,” said Terry Amerine, Director of Product Marketing for Durst U.S. “What are brand managers, who are a very important client segment, looking for from their print service providers and what’s their position on print going forward?”
“Our Retail 2020 Series is answering those questions, providing printers with critical insights, and bringing people together,” Amerine said. “Having these brand experts from ANN INC. speak at our SGIA event illustrates just how valuable these sessions are not only to printers, but to brand managers who want their message heard. We’re pleased and honored that they would join us, and we’re anticipating a strong turnout.”
The first Retail 2020 Series event took place earlier this year at Graph Expo in Chicago to outstanding reviews:
