Parrot Certifies Two New Canvas Materials

Parrot Digigraphic Ltd, a systems integrator for digital fine-art and photographic printmaking, has tested and approved two new canvas products for museum-quality inkjet and photographic reproductions.

Parrot Hi-Performance Matte Canvas is an acid-free cotton-polyester blend with a pleasing, white textured surface that is water- and fade-resistant when used with pigmented inks. It is available in both standard wide-format rolls and extra-wide rolls for the new generation of “baby-grand” high-resolution inkjets that use aqueous inks.

Parrot Premium Satin Canvas is a textured, natural-looking canvas for use with dye-based inks. The inkjet-receptive coating on the canvas is optimized for heavy ink loads, a large color gamut, and enhanced image resolution, particularly in the highlight and shadow areas.
