Pantone has announced an upgrade to its Huey software. The company's easy-to-use monitor calibration solution can now run natively on the new Windows Vista operating system.

'We began collaborating with Microsoft early in the Windows Vista development process to ensure the timely release of Windows Vista-compatible Huey software,' says Andy Hatkoff, vice president of Electronic Color Systems for Pantone. 'With this upgrade, we are demonstrating our continuing commitment to our Windows customers by ensuring they are able to take advantage of the latest Windows operating system. Furthermore, Windows Vista is expected to be embraced by the creative community and we want to be the first to support creative professionals adopting Windows Vista.'

The Huey software update is available, free-of-charge.
