Drytac has added Panda Print—an opaque, bamboo-fiber, printable fabric—to its EarthSmart line of eco-friendly products.

Derived from bamboo that’s been organically farmed, and not harvested from forests, the fabric is compatible with aqueous, eco-solvent, and UV inkjet printers. It’s 99.6% biodegradable and certified to be free of harmful chemicals, Drytac reports. Panda Print features a canvas-like texture making it suitable for fine-art applications. It’s designed to trim easily without fraying.
Available in 36- and 50-in. roll widths.

The company also has added a 34-in. JetMounter motorized, table-top cold laminator to its JetMounter product line. Designed as an all-around finishing tool for photographs, inkjet output, posters, and other heat-sensitive artwork, the laminator is intended for use with pressure-sensitive overlaminates and mounting adhesives. The new JetMounter boasts speeds of up to 18 ft/min, features a foot switch for hands-free operation, and includes a supply shaft and photo cells for finger protection. There are no rewind shafts on this model. Price: $1495
