Oris Proofing System SWOP-Certified on Canon Printers

CGS Publishing Technologies' ORIS Digital
Proofing System has been SWOP-certified
on Canon's 24-in. imageProGraf W6400
and 44-in. W8400. Certification was
achieved with two different inksets:
Canon's 6-color pigmented inks and CGS'
recently introduced pigment-based Long-
Life Extended (LLE) inks. Both certifications
used Oris PearlPROOF Publication
semi-matte paper.

In addition, members of the Color Management
Group will now provide training
and installation of the CGS Oris Color Tuner
proofing and workflow system. Color Management
Group will also sell Oris software
in market segments not covered by the CGS
traditional graphic-arts reseller network.
