Orbus Exhibit & Display Group™, one of North America’s leading trade suppliers of display, exhibit and event solutions is proud to announce that the company has been recertified to the G7 IDEAlliance Master Print Specification through June of 2015. With 19 state-of-the-art printers and the G7 certification, Orbus’ graphics production process provides customers with consistent, accurate color and high quality finished products.
Orbus first achieved the G7 Master Print specification in July of 2010, when the company was one of the first in the tradeshow industry to do so. For the past four years, Orbus has strived to constantly improve the graphics printing process, and to remain at the G7 printing level to best benefit customers. Each year, the company is re-evaluated and recertified by the IDEAlliance for excelling in implementing the G7 Proof-to-Print process. The Proof-to-Print process allows Orbus to constantly provide accurate color matching and print consistency across all print devices, systems and geographic regions, including the two manufacturing and production facilities in Woodridge, IL and Las Vegas, NV.
Orbus also has several printing professionals certified to the G7 Professional designation, which indicates that the certified party is an in-house quality or technical professional in the printing process. G7 Professionals undergo a training and exam process in order to become certified, and are a valuable resource in ensuring that quality standards are met during the printing process. Orbus’ customers benefit from a highly knowledgeable graphics production team, and are provided with consistent, high quality graphics, printed with accurate color to the G7 specification. (L) Telios Grande Direct-to-Fabric Dye-Sublimation Printer (R) Pred8tor, UV Hybrid Roll-to-Roll machine. Both state-of-the-art printers are utilized to print high-quality graphics at a high speed to G7 IDEAlliance specifications.
“Being recertified to a G7 Master Printing level is a huge benefit for our graphics production process, and allows us to provide clients with the highest quality printed graphics, no matter what device they are printed on,” said Jaime Herand, Vice President and Director of Group Graphic Operations for Orbus. “Producing a consistent visual appearance across all of our printing options, from UV to dye-sub to solvent has been very important to us to maintain uniformity across locations and product lines for a superior end-result for clients.”
