Onyx Graphics is partnering with the Graphic Intelligence Agency to offer a full day of RIP training on its PosterShop and ProductionHouse products in a dozen North American cities. The seminar program has been broken down into five solution-based modules:

“Set Up and Speed Up Your RIP”–hardware configuration, “degunking” RIP files, optimizing print passes

“A More Productive Workflow”–quicksets, multiple printers, drag-and-drop hot folders

“When You Have to Tweak”–preflight power tools, scaling and tiling, hidden color-correction tools

“Getting the Best Color”–job color-management settings, creating custom profiles, calibrating existing media, spot color matching

“Cutting Workflows”–i-Cut, contour cutting workflow, CUT server

Tour cities and dates will include: Los Angeles (Aug 11), San Francisco (Aug 17), Seattle (Aug 19), Minneapolis (Aug 24), Chicago (Aug 26), Orlando (Aug 31), Houston (Sept 2), Detroit (Sept 9), Boston (Sept 14), New York (Sept 16), Toronto (Sept 21), and Calgary (Sept 28).
