O'Donnell Named Manager of New Business Development

Graphics Arts Show Company (GASC?) has named Sonia O'Donnell the Manager of New Business Development. In this newly created position, O'Donnell will develop specialized exhibit platforms and educational forums for all GASC venues to showcase technology opportunities for printers seeking diversification. GASC produces national events such as Graph Expo, Print, and the Vue/Point Conference, as well as regional events such as Graphic Arts The Charlotte Show, and the Gutenberg Festival.

Previously, O'Donnell was director of marketing and association development for the Digital Printing and Imaging Association (DPI). Before that, she was assistant director of print production and quality control for Mill Pond Press, where she managed the production process and technical issues involved in digitally producing limited-edition fine-art prints. In addition, she has was a color proofing specialist for the Photo Products division of DuPont and director of marketing for Coulter Systems, where she worked with scientists developing a digital laser film recorder.

Based in Reston, VA, GASC is owned by the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL), NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies, and the Printing Industries and America (PIA). (GASC: www.gasc.org)
