Oce Introduces Two Economical Vinyls–Scrim and PSA

Oce offers two new media in its line of imaging supplies: Outdoor Ultra-Durable Scrim Vinyl Banner and Outdoor Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Vinyl. Both are designed for use with aqueous pigmented inks where high durability is required. The 19-mil scrim vinyl banner media features a coating that is highly resistant to scratches, and its quick dry time allows for unattended printing. Designed for indoor or outdoor use, the banner media can be sewn or grommeted. Widths from 36 to 60 in. are offered. The 6-mil pressure-sensitive calendered vinyl media features a clear repositionable adhesive that is permanent upon final application. Available widths range from 24 to 60 in. Both media are said to last up to 12 months outdoors without lamination using select pigmented ink sets, and can save the user up to 15% over “universal” media designed for either dye or pigmented inks.
