NewCal Industries Acquired by Canon

Canon USA has acquired San Francisco-based NewCal Industries, an independent value-added reseller of document and print solutions, including document-imaging hardware and software, fleet printer management, and facilities-management services.

NewCal was founded in 1991 by Steve Tarpley and Ken Wilkens, two former Kodak Field Engineers; today, the company has five locations throughout California and more than 160 employees. NewCal is an authorized distributor of Canon, HP, Xerox, Cisco, and Dell.
