Bordeaux Digital PrintInk has introduced Pro-Teck AQ, a new line of water- and UV-based liquid laminates designed for sign, vehicle, and fleet graphics. The laminates are optimized for protection from UV and visible light, and from pressurized water-and-detergent mixtures (used for washing vehicles), as well as from oxidation, moisture, and temperature extremes. The Pro-Teck AQ line is designed to enhance color density and improve color contrast, the company reports, and can be applied by machine or manually, depending on the substrate. Bordeaux also has debuted its PLSF UV LED inks, which feature 250% elongation and are suitable for UV and UV LED printers, the company reports. Also on display was the company’s newly formulated PENR Eco Solvent inks (free of cyclohexanone and NMP) for Mimaki, Roland, and Mutoh printers and PRGS Eco Solvent inks for the Epson Stylus Pro GS6000.
