New Facebook Group Connects Women in Sign Industry

Industry exec launches female-focused community to provide networking and educational opportunities.

Creating or joining Facebook Groups are surprisingly great ways to increase business or connect with like-minded individuals.

Wendy Graves, president of inSIGNia Wholesale, wanted to do both, so she launched Women in Signs, Etc. (WISE). The private Facebook group for women was created to uplift, empower, and learn from all women in the sign industry.

“The E, in WISE is for Etc.,” says Graves. “This is important because we cover more topics that are important to women. You may have a limited or an abundance of knowledge … the other ladies in the amazing industry will need your expert guidance to make a difference for the next sign generations to come.”

Graves also launched a podcast of the same name, which she shares on the Facebook and LinkedIn group pages. You can listen to the podcast on Spotify and Anchor.
