MTL Print, the Israel-based printer manufacturer, has announced that it will open a US office in the Atlanta area in May of this year. The US office will be the basis for logistics, sales, and customer service for the North American market.

In early May, the company worked with Parallax Digital Studios in Kennesaw, Georgia, to hold an open house, showcasing its Meital 304D flatbed.

“MTL believes that showing the machine in a working environment like Parallax's gives potential customers a better way of evaluating the machine's performance,” says Ran Emanuel, MTL Print’s CEO. “The ability to talk to people at Parallax, who have been operating the machine for a year, can give everyone a realistic viewpoint.”

MTL was founded in 2007 by Kobi Markovitch and Moshe Nur. Nur, now MTL’s chairman of the board, founded Nur Macroprinters; which was subsequently sold to HP. Markovitch, the company’s CTO, served as CTO and VP R&D at Nur Macroprinters.
