Mimaki has announced the North American release of its Original Goods Package System (OGPS), an equipment bundle designed for on-demand package printing and prototyping. The OGPS includes the company’s UJF-6042 UV-LED tabletop printer, CFL-605RT compact cutting plotter, and, newly developed by Esko, ArtiosCAD DS software.

The 24-in. UJF-6042 printer is capable of printing on plastics, metal, wood, leather, and glass up to 6 in. thick. It is available with white and clear inks.

The 24-in. CFL-605RT cutter offers on-demand production features, such as reciprocating, tangential, and eccentric cutting; creasing; and insertion of foam cushioning material.

ArtiosCAD DS software features 402 packaging templates, beginner-friendly editing functions, and tools for rounding corners, adjusting interior trim, and creating hanging tabs. Plug-ins can be downloaded for importing CAD files into Illustrator.
